ROC workforce continuing education (wce)
Another abbreviated ROC pathway students have is WCE. The ROC is a state certified Workforce Continuing Education (WCE) pathway taught by CPCC instructors. This pathway includes stackable industry National Center for Construction and Education (NCCER) certifications, work-based learning internships, and college credit for prior learning.
This is an ideal pathway for students wanting to take construction technology classes each semester who are dedicated to joining the construction industry directly after high school graduation. Our small class sizes ensure students receive individualized instruction and career support so they can hit the ground running with summer apprenticeships and jobs after high school graduation. Depending on the school, students will either stay at their school, and take one class a day in our specialty labs, or be bussed to off-site labs for one class a day.
